Day 1
Today I arrived at Standsted airport from Torp. This is my first day of backpacking in the UK. I am looking forward to visit the Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, Madame Tussaud’s, and the London eye, but I am not going to do that today. I’m tired and have no plans.
Now I sit in my hotel room in Abbey Orchard street and relax after a long day with traveling. I am going to be here in London for a few days.

Day 2
Today I woke up early in the morning excited for what I was going to do today. The sky was clear and the sun was shining. First I ate a delicious breakfast of egg, tea and bacon. After that I went to the tube. The tube was fast and I moved under the city.
The first thing I visited was the Madame Tussaud’s. It is a wax museum. In the museum there are famous people made of wax. I saw: Michael Jackson, Barack Obama, Queen Elisabeth, Madonna and many others. I took many pictures.
After that I went for a quick lunch at McDonald's before I took the tube back to Abbey Orchard. Then I walked down the street to the Big Ben. The Big Ben clock tower was enormous, and every hour the bell rings. Then, I walked over the Westminster bridge and took many pictures of London eye, before I tried it. It was quite fun actually, but it moved very slowly.
When I walked back to the hotel, I wondered why every houses in London was made of brick and stone. Therefore I asked the guy in the lobby. He answered my questions and much more.
He said that the city is made of brick because in 1666 a big fire started in one house. The fire spread, because all the houses were made of tree and hay. Almost the whole city burned down. So, when they built up the city again, they made the houses of brick and stone, and had larger space between the houses.
He told me that London was the capital of the UK, and that the national sport is cricket. The warmest month in London is July, and the coldest is January. It rains often, but snow is rare. The population in London is about 7,5 millions. The last things he said was that I always have to say “Please”, no matter what, here in England. He gave me some ideas of nice places in London. Like Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace.

Day 3.
Today was my last day in London. Now I am in my hotel room packing my bags. I am going to leave about 06:00 o'clock tomorrow. This is what I have done today: First I took a shower. After that I went out on the street and found a sightseeing bus. It was fun to drive through the streets of London with a bus.
The first stop was Buckingham Palace. There is no king in England, but a Queen. Her name is Elisabeth. She's not only queen of England, she's also queen of Australia, Canada, and many other countries. The castle is a huge white building. I have a picture of it at the bottom of the page.
The second stop was Trafalgar Square. Trafalgar Square is a big place with a monument made of a pillar in the middle. After that I sat on the sightseeing bus for a while through the city, before I got off, and took a taxi back to the hotel.
